Cats, and protecting you setup

So, in a last second of notice, I'm being transferred through my job across state, and going to stay at a friends for awhile when I get there until I find a place or house.

He has a cat...

What precautions do I need to take with my setup? Screens, separate "no cat" room? Am I just over-worried?

Thanks
/D

There was another thread similar to this, I will see if I can pull it up for you. The concept of the thread was to lay down an uncomfortable surface that the cat would not want to stand on. But this of course depends upon your setup.

You can always get a canopy to cover the top.

Here is that thread: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=1781756

My dog had more interest in the tank than my cat...

Thanks for the replies. I may just put the tank in a bedroom. I've never had cats so didnt need to worry about it. I did read a little of that thread, will read the rest later. But the tape idea seems good.

The other problem would be the light fixture, it's a Current Nova Extreme Pro, not sure what i would do about that, it's basically a landing strip for the cat
