In time it will settle, I tend to see crystal clear water from using some Activated Charcoal that might help you out a little bit. What type of Filteration are you using. As i am still in the noob areas of SW Tank this is what comes to mind when i think of cloudy water.

Turn the heat up it shouldn't be snowing in your tank!!!!!

Just Kidding. What is causing it? Maybe your Power Heads are stirring the sand or maybe its tiny bubbles from the sump making their way into the the DT. Try redirecting the flow of the powerheads first.

could be a bunch of things. Could be sand, easiest. It could be bubbles, 2nd easiest. It could be calcium precipitate, harder to figure out. Change your powerheads around to see if it's sand. If it is, turn your sump return off for like 5 minutes, and see if it goes away, if not, then go to possible cause 3.

It's not cloudy it's sand.. Iam gonna turn off the power heads and see if it settles.. I had a power head angled at the sand so I think I found out what it was..

Charcoal is a great water polisher, and i'm a firm believer that there can never be too much flow.

Keep the powerheads away from the sand. Not much else you can do. If you tank is very new, you may have more extremely fine particles that will settle out with time.

^As you continue to cycle, and the tank ages, it will kind of make the sand cling to the bottom. Not sure if this is an algae, or bacteria, or what, but I have heard repeatedly that once a tank matures, the sand will want to stay put more and more as time goes on. GL. If it was from a sandstorm, could take a few days depending on how fine the sand is.

Not sure how powerful the kor 4 are... but I have one Kor 3, one Kor nano, and 2 return pumps in a 48x20x20 and the kor 3 definitely puts out a lot of flow.. I couldn't imagine having a kor 4 with a tank that is 12" shorter.. We already have a hard time placing stuff in the 3's direct flow..

if you have calcium precipitate in the water would running carbon take out the excess?

Power went out for about a day.. The goby is fine and the tank no longer has any snow.. That's weird that it did that.. But I turned off one of my kor 4 also now.. The one that didn't come with a flow director..

Kor 3 is almost too much flow for my 75. I use one and it makes complete lap around the tank so that is likely your problem
