New Tank Ideas
So I recently have agreed to buy a new tank. Its a 70 gall tall (36x18x24) with center back overflow. It comes with stand, a 20 gallon sump, a ASM G1 skimmer, return pump (unsure of brand), 250w MH retrofit hood, about 60lbs of live rock, and 30lbs of live sand. I am getting it on sunday and I am going over some ideas for it.
couple of ideas Im thinking: 1. SPS only w/ 4-5 Chromis, harlequin shrimp, couple of Maxima Clams 2. Soft coral predator tank: couple of leathers, zoas, mushrooms, Lion Fish, Snow Flake Eel, Foxface Rabbitfish, Dragon Wrasse 3. Mixed Reef with Purple Tang, Copperband Butterfly, Longnose Hawkfish Im up for any ideas you may have as well. Just looking to see what other had in their heads.

Hmm, well Copperband Butterflys are one of my favorite fish, but the Snowflake Eel would also be interesting. I don't know.
And I'm sure you've done your research, but I just have to make sure you know that a bite from an eel can cause a serious bacterial infection (and they can escape the tank).

I love my copperband and my harlequins. I don't think you could go wrong with either one of them. I have to say the harlequins really are one of my favorite critters in my tank. They are always entertaining.
