Euro-Reef RS-80 Pump

I have an old RS-80 that needs a pump replacement. Normally, I would just get the sedra-3500 w/ pin wheel impeller, but I'm wondering if there is a better replacement especially now that there are some better skimmer pumps available. I have also looked on http://www.reefdynamics.com/Euro-Ree...-p/p-sp2-c.htm, which is I guess the actual supplier now for all Euro-Reef parts and skimmers, and they have an SP2, which is a Sedra-3500 too but it looks a little different in the volute and impeller, but for a little more money. So I'm wondering if their sedra is any different too?
