Found a starfish dont know if its bad

We think that its a brittle star it comes out at night and now is hidding in a hole in the live rock , any one know what this might be

got a picture? Brittles do commonly live in holes in LR, so it is feasable that it is in fact a brittle.

Is it a big one, or is it a mini star?

If it is a mini, most likely it is a good guy, and you probably have more than one.

its about the lonnie , really could not see it . Got up turn the tank light and away it went in the hole now its legs are just hang out

Green Brittle stars are bad, but from your description, it's hard to tell what you have.

Green Brittes arent really that bad until they get big. Then they can be an issue.
