Another stocklist question

Need advise on my stock list. Am I going to be pushing it or should i have room for another small fish or two? First the system. It is a Standard 90g tank with 20g sump/refugium, modded G3 skimmer, 100lbs live rock. My current fish list is a pair of black clowns, diamond goby, six line wrasse, and a small yellow tang. I am probably going to add a small blue hippo and I also want a Mandarin as well. Would there be room for another small fish after these or are these two additions too much?

(I do know the tangs grow but I have friends with larger tanks and I can always switch it out for a smaller one or upgrade)

sounds ok but wait with the mandarin unless the tank is well established!

Tank was a transfer/upgrade from a 46g which has been set up almost 2 years... The 90 has been set up since October. I just added another 40 lbs of LR today since I was a little short on that end and I do plan on waiting another month or so for the Mandarin anyways. So the list sounds complete? Is there room for anything else such as maybe a flasher or fairy wrasse? I want to add the Mandarin last so anything else I am going to put in there needs to come first.

I would have to say you would have room for a couple smaller fish, it all depends on your system and how well it handles the fish you currently have in it. With the tangs they can turn into poo machines, ie the hippo so I would let your 2 tangs grow out a little and let your tank adjust for a couple months and then add the other 2 you want to get. Keep in mind also the 6 line eats alot of the bugs your mandarin is going to eat so you may want to rethink either the 6 line or the mandarin.

^I agree, the 6-line and mandarin will probably compete for food, although I do not know how much detriment it would be to the pod population. Also, just saw this suggestion the other day for harvesting pods. Get a small like 1" pvc pipe, anout a foot long. Drill tiny holes, just big enough for the pods(maybe 1/4") to get through, but the fish can't get them. If you don't have a big refugium with lots of macro for them to hide and spawn, this can be a great populating grounds. Then bury that under the sand so that its RIGHT under the sand, or even a TINY bit sticks out of the sand.

Thanks for the responses, the sixline does peck at the rocks but I know it has been eating the flatworms form the front glass and goes crazy for flake food when that goes into the tank. I think with the size of the tank and the fact that I have a refugium (rubble rock pile and macro) there should be enough for both of them but i could be wrong. Either way the fish additions will take place over the next year, the rest of my liverock went in yesterday so I want to give that plenty of time before the mandarin and take care of any mini cycle while I am at it. (shouldn't have much of a cycle, rock was quickly moved... was in a tank for over 10 years too)
