copepods
I have had my tank up for about a year. 15g with 15lbs LR. I have 2 small fish, CUC, and 6 corals.
I used to see little bugs, I assume copepods, running around on the sand right when I turned the lights on in the am. A few months ago, I stopped seeing them. Do I need to supplement? If so, where do you buy live pods? PS: I was dosing phyto twice a week up until a few weeks ago when it expired. Not really sure it was doing anything except making my nitrates go up. |

Depends upon what purpose the copepods served to the tank, what kind of fish do you have?
You don't HAVE to have copepods (unless you have a fish that needs them). They are a nice addition to a healthy system though.
