Correct. Unless you have a very old kit, each drop is equal to 0.5 dkh. Inside the box there is the red insert that says KH on the front. On the back it indicates that each drop equals 0.5 dkh.

The one I had was one drop + 1 dKH, so 13 dKH, or 4.64 meq/l. Unless they changed the test.

I had the old one as well that was 1 drop = 1dkh and so with the new kit I have been using a 2.5ml sample instead of 5 and still using 1 drop =1dkh. I try and keep alk around 9 and 18-20 drops is annoying.
I dont really like these newer kits. FWIW the color change is not as dramatic as it was on the old kit and seems much more diffucult to read. I loved my older elos alk but know Im back on salifert |

So is the API kit, 1 drop=1dKH. And its cheap and accurate. And it has a really nice obvious color change it goes from blue to yellow. Totally diffrent colors that are easy to see.

Seems like they are pretty much the same then, but API don't seem to be available over here.
