Apex & Aqua Illumination (AI) LED lighting system?

Anyone know if the Apex is compatible with and can control the new Aqua Illumination (AI) LED lighting system? The AI system comes with a controller but lists that it is Reef Keeper controller compatible, but was hoping the dimmer ability of the Apex can control it too. Apex site syas it "Can dim ballasts with 0 to 10V interfaces (life some T5 ballasts)", but nothing about these type of LED systems. Would consider it if the Apex could control it, and not use the limited controller that comes with it.

Not yet, It's on Neptune's development list (update please?)

As an AI owner, this is important to me. Profilux has released a cheap controller for the AI's that provides much more functionality than the AI controller including random thunderstorms.

I hope a compatible device is on the horizon. I'd rather invest further in my Apex, than have to purchase a Profilux controller.

+1 on this... has neptune said if they are planning on a module for the AI units? I am planning on upgrading my AC3 very soon and also thinking of getting the AI units with my tax return. I want to get an Apex but if it isnt going to support the AI then I might as well start going in a different direction.

i like how another brand has cool effects like thunderstorm control over the AI units... really hoping the apex supports the full power of the AI units... please some kind of answer from neptune would be great... thanks

AI Firmware Provides Individual Light Ramping

For those waiting for an Apex/AI interface - Great news.

The latest AI firmware update (3.0b, currently in beta testing) provides the ability to individually control both the white and blue LEDS with up to 8 set-points/ramps for each color each day.

I'm currently testing and so far its great. You can create custom ramp programming for sunrises/sunsets and increases for midday sun.

An Apex interface would still be nice to provide remote access and programming, but this is huge leap forward. The press release is available on the AI website at http://www.aquaillumination.com/?p=529

I'm Planning to use 2 AI SOL units to replace my two 250 Watt 20K Halides.
My Tank is 72 Gal bowfront with sps on top and lps below. I also run 2 T5 actinics.
Does anyone know if the 2 SOL units will suffice to replace my current lighing system?

Each unit will cover a 2'x2' area really well. So 2 would be more than enough in my opinion. I have 2 SOL Super Blues for a 120g. 48x24x24
