Advice : T8 Bulbs ????
Heloing a guy who has a 150 with two T8 bulbs on it. What kind of coral can he keep starting off with these. He wants to upgrade later but starting out he's going to stick with these. Ive never used them so Im a little clueless. Thanks for the advice.

your going to need to find a coral that needs very little light or a non photosynthesis coral, 2-t8's is very little light for a 150 gallon tank, im sure you know that with you having a nice setup.

Thanks for the compliments and I was thinking the same thing. Ive never used these bulbs and had no knowledge or experience to share with the guy.

I have a 180, thats officially a FOWLR. lit by 2 rows T8...... however, there are some fluffy morphs and brown zoas on the liverock that are growing niceley. . . . . oh, and the #$%^&* aptasia!
