Chaeto light for menards clip on fixture?
Paid $7 for a clip on with reflector rated 150 watt max. Picked up a 6500K 23 watt spiral bulb that equals a 100 watt bulb. Is this the best bulb? I have half of my 29 gallon sump empty now , ready for chaeto and live rock. My tank already has a DSB and there is enough flow in this sump area to maybe spin a ball of chaeto but would kick up sand so I am going bare. Also what creatures would be most beneficial on the bare bottom to break down the stuff on the bottom besides a starfish, snails, and hermits?

i used a cfl flood light, doesn't need a reflector because the bulb is inside one already. it was like $14 at menards i think.
6500k and it triples the cheato in my sump every month |
