Switched to Gen-X reactor media-PH?

Can someone who has experience with this media tell me what ph they are running in the reactor. I have used ARM media before at 6.6 ph to dissolve and read somewhere that you need lower ph to dissolve the Gen-X media.
Thanks.

Which ARM, large or small grain?

Large grain has a pretty similar pH level as GenX, where small grain is higher. You might drop it .1 if you were using the small grain to start with. Just keep an eye on your levels and test the effluent levels if you knew what the alk was prior to the change.
