Can I pour my b-ionic into the sump?

Hi - a silly question, but can I dose into the sump instead of the DT?
The sump goes fuge, skimmer compartment, the return pump compartment. The water enters the fuge first, where there is also a Koralia Nano PH. Will the flow mix up the additives enough, or will they build up in that first compartment?
Thanks!!

The return pump section is actually the ideal place to dose, it will mix the most water with the product and disperse it evenly to the tank.

+1 on return pump area. And FYI a chaeper way to go then b-ionics is bulkreefsupply.com. You can buy the calcium and alk in dry form (for the same price as the 1 gal bottles of b-ionics) and mix yourself making several gallons.

I dilute the alkalinity part with RO water and slow drip it into my sump. The calcium I add to the display.

There is a reason but I am not sure it is reasonable enough to mention.
