Bulb question

ok this is a FOWLR tank bulb question.

are the pc bulbs from aquatraders anygood for FOWLR lighting?

iam not asking about the fixtures nor do i want the fixture debate in this thread..iam only asking about the bulbs for a FOWLR..i have a diffrent fixture(s) for several tanks

iam not concerened about any growth with the exception of unsightly algea... just visual appearance for a FOWLR tank

+1, they may not show off the colors of the fish as well as other lighting options, but the fish will be fine.

I guess they are cheap enough to try them and if i dont like them not much lost... i have wasted more money than that on a dinner that didnt stay down...

too bad my reef tank fixtures and my fowlr fixtures dont take the same bulbs then i could just swap out the "old" reef bulbs to the fowlr fixtures

Agree they should be fine. Lighting in a FOWLR to some degree is more for you, as the fish don't really mind, nor do the rock, so should be fine.
