best way to keep crusting hydnophora at bay?
What's the best way to keeping what I believe is a crusting hydnophora at bay so it doesn't spread? I'm concerned about it taking over and stinging my other corals... will calk paste do the trick? I have a container of Ms. wages hanging around if that might do the trick...

you should be able to break it off, or just move the rock where it won't spread, but i don't know of an other way.

breaking it off wont really work as it has encrusted on the rock...the only option there would be to break up the entire rock, which is a really nice piece, so I'm not willing to do...

Why don't you use 2 part epoxy and just cover the coral? Might work.

So, can I just mix a nice milky mixture of my Ms. Wages and RO water and blast it?
