Will a harlequin shrimp attack sea urchins as well as stars?
Anyone ever hear of a large tank producing enough starfish to support a harlequin shrimp?

I've read that people will buy a few large stars and chop off the legs and throw em in the fuge to let them regenerate. That way they always have a supply. |

![]() ![]() That's brutal. And cold. Do you rember where you learned about them keeping a star alive? I've heard of people with a zillion little stars reproducing & it made me wonder.

Everything you need to know about them can be found here http://www.chucksaddiction.com/harlequinshrimp.html
Mine eats one CC starfish every month. I tried to do the lag thing but they don't grow back that fast. I found it essayer to just put in a hole starfish. If you get one you must be prepared to feed them stars or they will starve to death. |
