Who used PVC under their live rock?
For all of you guys that installed there live rock did you use cut down PVC under your rock? I have heard that this take care of any dead spots under your live rock. If you used it how did you do it? Cut holes in the pvc like swiss cheese? Did you glue the pvc to the tank bottom to prevent it from sliding? any other ideas?

sounds like you are referring to more of a PVC cradle, to help prevent an avalanche, perhaps?
If you could elaborate: what are you defining as dead spots? I ran some black irrigation 1" flexible hose into my rock work with 1/8" nipples here and there to try and get a light flow, and help prevent stagnant areas...not sure if that meets your goal. |
