Lifereef Ractor motor replacement

Greetings,
I bought a used Lifereef Calcium Reactor with a Mag7 that was glued together... I couldn't tell until I tried to replace the impeller. The motor is history to say the least. I could glue it again, but it would also need a new bezel.

So here lies the question: any suggestions for a replacement pump? Does this thing really need a Mag7 ? Could I use something that uses less wattage? Anyone done this already?

Thanks, B
