Overflow help
I need help with the placement of a overflow on a 46 gal bowfront. I have the 1 ¾” diamond tipped hole bit and 2-1” bulkheads. I want to build a glass overflow box but I need help with the dimensions, where to drill the whole, how close to the top of the tank the top of the over flow box needs to go to get the water level to the top of the tank. How big the overflow box should be, and glass thickness.

How much flow do you want to run through it? Are both holes/bulkheads for drain lines, or do you want 1 drain, 1 return?

One drain and one backup drain 1/4" higher than the other.
