Pump Suggestions
Going to drill my 65 gallon (38 x 18 x something). It'll have a 20 or 29 gallon sump. Figured I'd get some suggestions before I buy my pump. I have a mag drive 3 on my Remora. It's making a ticking noise, even though I replaced the impeller. My Eheim 1250 is silent, but way underpowered.
What suggestions do you have for pumps? Cheap is always good. I'm looking at around 5 feet of head. Thinking around 350 gph range after head. Any opinions good or BAD are welcome. Thanks. The pump size will determine what bulkhead I drill for.

What I am thinking of doing is this.
Replacing the Mag 3 on the Remora with a Rio 1400 Replacing the Eheim 1250 with the Mag 3 Not using the Eheim 1250 and getting a sump pump for the 65 gallon.

I've been using QuietOne 4000HH on both my sump and chiller. They have been in use for a 3-4 years and I've had zero problems. I see them on Ebay regularly selling for around $35-45. Beats the $100-110 you pay at the store.

I'd also recommend the eheim 1260.
