bristle worms?

I haven't seen a bristle worm in my tank in probably 2 years, nor do I see pods or mini stars, should I get a fresh piece of live rock to add these back?

Chances are pretty good that if they were in there before there are still some in there now, but adding some new live rock probably wouldn't hurt.

You could also trade a cup or two of live sand or macro algae with another local reefer to give your microfauna a boost.

If your tank is doing ok without them, I wouldn't worry about it. There not really a necessity when it boils down to it IMO. If they're there cool, if not, no big deal. Whatever role they do play in a CUC, I'm sure there are ways around it.
