Oyster eggs from local sources

Here in Virginia there is a budding industry of oyster farms trying to rebuild the oyster population in the Chesapeake bay. The oyster industry here almost died after disease and over harvesting decimated the native populations here. I found that there are many of these businesses that now have hatcheries that produce everything from eggs all the way up to oysters ready for the market. I have found at least 5 different companies that either have active hatcheries or will be operational within a year.

With the high cost of DT's oyster eggs I was wondering is anyone is using local sources for oyster eggs to feed their corals? I'm always looking for a cheaper alternative to store bought products and this could help out local hatcheries if there is another market for their products.
