Gut has extruded. They may not make it when they reach this condition. I took a carpet nem back to the store after it extruded its gut several times. Is it attached? This is a good sign.

It may be stressed out from the lighting since it's new to the tank....but generally it would try to move. Has it been moving around the tank or has it stayed in one place?

My sebae had an inflated gut prior to spawning. Stress can cause a spawn.

"Something on it's foot" = ? get a pic

may want to post in the nem forum, they may be better able to help

have heard of SOME nems having issues with silversides, that is not to say it is everyone, nor to say it was a hadinnae(sp?) carpet, but I have heard of it. Sorry that that wasn't of more help.

If it is moving around - then something is definitely bothering it. The problem obviously is finding out what.

Was he moving before? If not, look at what has changed lately. Something on his foot ------???? If this is new and he just recently started showing signs of stress than this would be where I would start. Get a good pic and possibly remove if you can (others may have to chime in on how to do this safely).

A lot of the silversides that are sold for fish food are actually a freshwater species. You might want to discontinue them, if that's the case with your food. All in all, that's not a bad feeding list that you have, though.

Could you post the rest of your water parameters?

Try going to the seafood dept of you grocery store, I get all sorts of "live" stuff their. I freeze mine to Store & kill off bacteria.

Those numbers are fine. Is there any animal that might have stung the anemone while it was moving?

Well, those don't seem like animals that would injure an anemone, although it's possible that it ran into a coral that it didn't like. Maybe it needs to adjust to the light, but it doesn't look like it's very healthy.

I found that silversides were "just too big" they would take pieces....I even got to were I would fillet them down.....they would just suck on them a bit, slime them up and regurgitate them.....leaving a big piece of rotting food in the tank.

I switched then to feeding PE MYSIDS to my Sebae....and got some good results
