Best place to get sand/live sand?

I need to add about 5-10 lbs of sand to my tank as I just ordered a shrimp/goby combo. Every time I see the bagged "live" sand aragonite it's around 30 dollars for a bag. I don't want to pay this much and I don't need this much so I'm wondering if anybody knows a better/cheaper way.

Go to the beach and swipe some. Get some from another trusted hobbyist or pony up the $$$ and buy some.

Don't live near the beach, have posted in the local forum and am trying to find a cheaper alternative.
