One thing you try and conpensate for in a sump is for power outages. Do you think the 20L will be enough if the power goes out and water starts siphoning into the sump?

well actually i went ahead and topped it fully off to the line i top off at now, shut everything off, then measured. the water level only rose maybe a half an inch at the most. topped off fully it measured 2 1/4 inches from the top of the water level to the inside top edge of the refugium. my tallest baffles are 1 1/2 inches from the inside top edge of the fefugium. so i think it should work for a 120. the new tank measures 74x16x24T

here is the sump i built for it:
you can see on the left side of the sump the max line i drew where i top off at now. i run a rio 1700 return on this setup. i could always lower that line as well to make more overflow room and just have an automatic topoff keeping it topped off if i had to lower the line. right?
