red sea max light upgrade ?

hi everyone. i'm hoping some one on here will have some experience with this. im looking to up grade my ballast to an ice cap 660. heres my ? it says that the ballast can drive 16 feet of bulb the rsm 250 runs 6 34'' bulbs which is 17 feet. does this mean i would have to run 2 to drive my system? or would my out put be slightly lower for the extra foot. thanks in advance for assistance.
