bio cube 14 gal skimmer?
im in need of a skimmer for my biocube 14 gallon tank.
i took the hood off long ago it has a metal halide now i just dont know what skimmer fit it? thanks! |

Biocube has its only brand skimmer. http://www.aquabuys.com/page/aqb/PROD/oc_skimmer
Dont know if you looking for something cheaper but thats what I got. |

You can still do the Biocube without the hood. But yea you can probally use any I would think.

I've heard very bad things about the Oceanic skimmer as well... wouldnt reccomend it at all!

It's generally a good idea to avoid most skimmer with airstones. I've personally had bad experiences with them as well, but not really due to performance but mostly upkeep. Clogging airstones, etc.
If you want to keep the stock hood, it may be one of the few options. You could also possible cut the back out of the canopy and use a hang on as well. |

Biocube skimmer sucks.
The question is why do you need a skimmer in such a small tank? Do water changes and set up a good clean filtration area. No skimmer is needed. |
