Documentation that Interceptor treats red bug

My vet said she would sell me Interceptor to treat for red bug if I could provide her with documentation that Interceptor is a recognized treatment. Where can I find scientific documentation that Interceptor is a recognized treatment for red bug?

Thanks!

Nice link! I am confused why the link indicates that an iodine solutions will also kill the red bugs. It is my understanding that only interceptor works?
