How many is too many inverts?
Hello everyone,
I have a 37g with about 75 lbs LR and a 2" LS bed. It's been up and running for a month and a week. I have 2 occ clowns, 2 scarlet hermits, one turbo snail and 3 nassarius snails. I plan on getting a Midas blenny and a dwarf flame angel. I want to get 3 skunk cleaner shrimp and 3 sexy anemone shrimp since I have read that they do well in groups. Is that too many inverts? Can I get more crabs/snails? If necessary, I'll forgo anymore inverts if food will be an issue. Also, I know sexy shrimp normally live around coral/anemone. Would they be ok in a tank with just LR and LS? I plan on getting coral further down the road, but it is much further down the road. Thanks everyone. |

Your CUC sounds a bit sparse for that size tank; but being that it's fairly new, it should be ok for now...Watch your algael levels & as you add fish to the bioload, add a few more scarletleg or blueleg hermits, some nerite & cerith snails & a few more nassarius snails. Go slow & good luck with the new tank!

Thanks. Yea I was definitely trying to err on the side of caution. I didn't want them to starve. Going to order some more today!
