a little cycle?
Ive just started a 40 gallon FOWLR and got fully cured live rock for it.The rock was out of water for about 4 days so i could get everything else set up before i put it in.the amonia spiked a little up to 0.25 but then dropped in 4 days to 0.i tested for nitrites and nitrates but the are at 0.Is my cycle finished?

There was probably some die off from the rock being outside. I would still be cautious when adding live stock. How much rock is in the tank? I would add more cured live rock and wait and see for a week or so and check levels. If things look good, slowly add live stock one at a time and check levels. Patience is the rule in this hobby.

Check on params after 1 week. If all is still 0, I would say your good to go.
