Acclimation

Can I acclimate a bunch of corals at once and exactly how do I acclimate them?

I float mine in a bag for 1/2 hour to get the temperature balanced, then I drip acclimate them for another 1/2 hour. Pull them out of the bag and shake off all the water. I then give them a 10 minute bath in Interceptor, a 10 minute bath in Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure and finally a 5 minute washing with ReVive (all mixed with tank water). Then into my Quarantine Tank for 4 weeks. I used to skip the quarantine, but I have too much invested in corals now to risk going directly into the DT. When I finally put one into the DT from QT, I skip all the treatments and just float the coral and conduct the drip acclamation. Oh, and yes you can acclimate them all at once.

I just temperature acclimate for 20-30 minutes and put it in. Havent lost any. If you dont feel lucky like me, do the dip in revive after the temp acclimation.

I used to do the same, but went through a flat worm epidemic a couple of years ago so it's dip and isolation tank for me!

Thats where I have been lucky and dont blame you for dipping now. I'm just stubborn and I'm sure it will take the same thing happening to me before I change my ways
