fuge lighting

I am wondering if 130w pc is good enough lighting for chaeto in a 15g fuge. The guy I bough the system from had a 250w mh down there (in sump fuge) but that seems like overkill for what I am using it for...DSB, LR, pods, macroalgae. I think he probably grew out frags in the fuge, and I may do the same in the future, but in the mean time, do I need to use the extra electricity? Thanks

Yes, home depot sells a 16 watt CF that is shaped like a standard flood light, 5400K I believe. It works great, hardly and heat and low wattage use.

fuge light

It may be a little overkill but it helps when you do a reverse lighting fuge to have a brighter light. Some people do lighting equal to tank lighting for growout tanks for a stable ph.
