RBTA and clams

Has anyone ever lost a clam to an anemone moving?

It is possible for the clam to die if the anemone stings it enough when it moves....
I have never personally experienced this but it is possible
If you would like to keep both of them together...you might want to try to get a clam that is kept on the sand bed rather than up in the rocks...Ideally the rbta will be on a rock island/pile and the clam on the sand bed with a fair distance between the end of the rocks and the end of the clam...typically the rbta will not cross the sand bed and as a result your clam should be relatively safe...
