fish in a mantis shrimp tank??
im looking for any fish i could keep in a 10 gallon that are fast and dont sleep in the rock.
any suggestions? small fish, im looking to get 2 or 3

how big a mantis? type? if you spot feed it all the time it can easily be done. Pincer ones might not be an option.

Any fish you put in a tank with a mantis are going to be food, especially in a 10 gallon. If you had a 3 or 4 foot long tank, maybe... maybe.
Bottom line, the mantis is interesting enough to keep in a tank on its own, and should be kept that way. BTW, what species of mantis do you have? Most, including peacock mantises will outgrow that size tank. |
