How many pumps do I need? MP-40WES
I'm setting up a new tank and I'm a newbie. I have been reading for a long time. Anyway, the tank is 48/18/18. How many pumps should I get? I'm going with the MP-40WES and was wondering if just one would be enough or if I should also get the MP-10WES also? The Tank is a Solana if anyone is wondering.

Depends on what you want to have in it. Generally the more flow the better. 1 mp40 would probably be fine but if you can afford another it will only help

What do you plan to keep?
2 MP10 pumps would be great, you could keep anything. 2 mp40 pumps would probably be overkill. I prefer overkill because you can turn them down so they are quieter and run cooler extending their lifespan.
