Tunze 9002 on 33g?

What do you guys think? I want an even mix of sps and lps. I tend to prefer to get an overpowered skimmer, but in this case I have a small sump to work with and the footprint of the 9002 is really appealing to me.

33 gallon display and 17 gallon sump.

If not the 9002, what would you recommend? How about the Urchin Pro?

What's wrong with the Vertex IN 80? I would say a in sump skimmer would be better, maybe a Bubble Magnus.

I've sort of decided that the vertex is going to be too big. It'll take up half of my sump! I really would like to have a fuge component in there, and I don't think it'll be possible with that one.

Both the tunze and the urchin are in-sump. Maybe you're thinking of the remora? I'll check out the bubble magnus, thanks!

I've been running the 9002 for about two weeks on a 29g tank. I really like it as I do with all Tunze stuff. I got the nano reefpack with the filter also.

The magnetic attached skimmer is nice.

Silent too

Have had a 9002 for 8 or 9 months on my 29g. It does the job, is very quiet and easy to maintain. But I don't think anyone would call them "over powered", as you prefer. I suspect "adequate" is a good description.
