Lightbulb 10g reef lighht evilc66's par 30 lamp 60 0r 80 degree optics

hi guys im close to ordering a 20000k led bulb from evilc66 at nano tuners i am jus wondering wat optics i should get 80degress or 60degrees? thanks this is gunna b my primary lighting..

That's a conundrum. 80 degree gives you good spread, but sacrifices par. 60 degrees will force you to raise the light off the surface at least 24 inches. Just depends on the look you are going for. I would choose one and buy extra optics in case it doesnt look right. From what I understand they are easy to change out.

thanks hmmm....i think ill jus go with 80 degrees ill still b able to do most corals right?

Depends on the depth of the tank, but probably. I would pick up the extra optics just in case.

you should be fine a 10 gal ia shallow and from what it sounds like you wont be keeping a ton of acros anyways so go for the 80 degree im about to order 2 60 degree for my 30 gal
