vortech mp40w or mp40es?
There must be a least a few users of vortechs that got the new ES version here.
I'd like to know if you think that the es version is really worth the $$ more they cost the w version right now ? I'd like to get your input on this bfore i buy, Thanks

I would get the es models.
Mine was a upgrade from a Gen2 mp40w. I am pleased with the changes.

I have wireless ES because I wanted 2 the MP40W and the mp10W ES to all communicate to each other
If you want them to communicate to each other id get wireless, if not, get the regular and get the wireless part later. I really like the new drivers though, i think theyre worth it

Would a mp40w be able to communicate with the ES or do i need both to be ES?

Even if it is wireless though, it will not communicate with any of the new modes that would be sent from an ES driver. It will only "understand" the old modes. Definitely get the wES, it's worth the difference.

I was sure that all ES where wireless. I knew that the older mp40 wasn't wireless.

If I'm not mistaken, the new MP10 driver comes in 2 versions, MP10WES and MP10ES. Not sure why they did that. I reckon for those who only have one MP10 the wireless option is not required and saves a few dollars. After all, the MP10 is primarily designed for nanosystems which generally only need one. Pretty sure the MP40ES are all wireless capable.
