Feeding fuge/sump

I was always under the notion that the optimal setup was to feed the fuge with raw tank water then on to the sump. My current setup uses the sump to feed the fuge but that was dictated by my cabinet space not by choice. I am setting up a 100 gallon sump and another 100 gallon fuge. I have two drain line with the thought one would run to the sump, the other to the fuge, with the fuge dumping to the sump. Here is a few pics and a link to my build thread. Any thoughts, input?
