Question is this a good light? aquaticlife T5HO ??

I am thinking about getting this light but B4 I dish out 1200 bucks I would like some opinions what others think or if they have had experience with this light and what it has been like for them.

DESCRIPTION
These Aquatic Life Six-Lamp T5 HO light fixtures offer 420/460nm, 700+ nm and Lunar lights in one streamlined unit. A timer controls the T5 HO fluorescent lamps and LEDs independently, allowing for a fully programmable 24 hour lighting cycle. Low voltage cooling fans come built right in to keep the fixture cool and direct heat away from the aquarium. I looked at a smaller fixture and it was a good entry level fixture. The lamps you use and the corals you want to keep will really make the difference. In my opinion, t5s can do anything that mhs can do.

I just bought one and i think it is an upgrade from my nova extrme pro. It isn't the best fixture going but its a great buy. The led and built in timmers really help make it stand out.

Why is this fixture costing you $1200, it's online for plenty less. If you are willing to spend that much, I'd go with an ATI fixture, top of the line.
What size is your tank? What do plan to keep? If the tank is 72" long you could go with a 60" PowerModule, it would leave you 6" of lower light zones on either side of the fixture. With this fixture there is nothing you couldn't keep about anywhere in the tank.

I have two fixtures an aquatic life and a sunlight supply tek light. The aquatic life is ok but it can't hang with the sunlight supply as far as output in my opinion. I thought the bulbs sucked that came with the aquatic life. Couple of them burned out before they should have. I replaced them with geismann and It helped but I still like the tek light.

Tek is a great fixture but it doesnt have fans, leds, or a built in timmer. This fixture is well built and does pack a lot fo punch. But yes if i could go back in time i would buy an ati fixture over this one but i would still keep this over a tek.
