Anyone using BRS dual chemical reactor with NP pellets?

I added 500ml to the chamber i usually keep the gfo in.The carbon is still in other chamber.
I am running mx1200 and removed the sponges and i can not get the pellets to tumble.i have tried everything i can think of.
Do i need a different reactor?

I don't have the BRS reactor...but I do have the TLF 550. With the MJ1200 I am not getting and tumbleing...but it's only been two days. I'm afraid that the MJ1200 is too small for this application, but I will give it more time and see if they stop clumping/break up after a week or two. In the mean time I'm going to look for a new small-ish pump that can replace the MJ1200 but produce more flow.

all in all from what I've read, you may just need to give it more time.

I modded a Kent Phos Reactor by drilling a hole in the side and installing a Maxijet 1200 directly into the reactor instead of trying to pump the water up into the existing tubes. They cut down the flow so much even with a mag5 the media wouldn't tumble. I used both the inlet and outlet pipes as outlets now if that makes sense.
If DH feels up to it I will take a few pics.

I failed to mention that the mj1200 is too much pump when used like this. You will need to use a smaller pump or throttle the outlet down with a ball valve.
