Metal Halide fans

I have 8 120 volt,18 watt brand new fans that I was going to use when I built my hood. I decided not to build the canopy so Im getting rid of the fans. These fans move alot of air. $20 a piece for narc members ,These fans are $50 a piece brand new. The fans are made tough no cheap plastic parts, they also move 105.9 cfm. Measurements are 4 3/4x 4 3/4

I didnt ever catch your answer to the power cord question, do they come with the cords. And could you tell me what brand they are? I'm having a new stand built and I would like to get them to the builder as soon as I can. Thanks

Do you mean how far apart they are going to be? What do you use as a power supply?

i will need to know how many fans you want , how wide your canopy is going to be[If ur going to put fans on the end] the cord will be a factory style cord soldered to the fans or i can put a cord on each fan

My canopy is going to be 42" wide and I didn't think that I would need any more than 2. My intention is to put them on top. One pulling air in and the other pulling out. Unless you think that way is not good. The actual tank is 30" wide, it is going to have a small storage cabinet on either side. So I don't think that it will be possible to put the fans on the sides.

So you want the fans 30" apart? Do you want one cord for both fans? If your going to be running metal halides I would definately put both fans blowing down.
