Creative Ideas Welcome!
I've got a 45 gal. saltwater fish & live rock tank. My problem is that I have to have HOB equipment . I have a HOB Coralife skimmer & Emperor 400 filter. My light is a Coralife Powercompact that has legs that sit on edge of tank. My problem is the skimmer & filter pretty fat & so the glass canopy can't be lifted due to the legs of the light fixture resting on the edge of tank. I took the glass lid off so I could feed the fish , routine maintenance..... Otherwise I'd have to unplug the light & set it on the floor everytime I accessed it. NOW i need a inventive way to cover the tank & access stuff easily- becasue my pink spotted goby is quite the jumper & i need to cover the tank before he jumps to his death! Please anyone got any ideas? Much appreciated! |

I assume hanging the light isn't an option?

Thanks for the link Jstdv8. That sound like a perfect solution.
