(-_-)? Necessary Equipment for Reef Tank (-_-)?

I have a 20 gallon tall reef tank that has been running for about 6 weeks. I have about 30-35 pounds of live rock in it and only a couple xenia's and gsp so far.

I have a HOB filter (marineland 150) and I ordered a CPR Aeroforce.

I am wondering what more to purchase. I am thinking about getting a canister filter to replace the HOB and I am also thinking about getting a Phosban reactor. Later down the line I am also thinking about getting a Reefkeeper Lite.

Can I please get some advice on what to get?

Are you having issues with phosphates? If not, no need for the reactor. What do you have for lighting? You will need additional water movement, either with your canister filter or internal pumps. A controller is nice to have.

The Koralia's should be your next investment , the canister would be nice but not nessacary at this point.

You really need to crank up the flow, best way is the Koralia

A canister filter may create more problems if it's not cleaned often. A good protein skimmer, plenty of live rock and good water movement should be all you'll need for filtration. If you want a reef tank, most will recommend having at least 20x turnover rate for water movement (some people have a lot more). For lighting, you should be able to keep most corals in a 20 gallon tall tank under a good 4 bulb T5 fixture.

Thanks for the advice. I plan on connecting the 3 koralia nano's to the reefkeeper lite.
