can a clam move around?
I have a small clam that came with my sand or LR. Anyway I placed it in the middle of my tank and the next day it was in the corner. Can clams move around? I thought they weren't mobile, guess not?

Yes!! They can and do move around. I would be surprised to see one that remained in the same spot it was initially placed when it was brought home. I have a 90 gallon. I placed one in the right half of the tank and by the next day it was in the left corner. They will move to where they like the lighting and flow.

Are you referring to Tridactad (sp) clams or others?

Definitely not a Tridacna. It's a small tan colored clam that's maybe 1/3" long, I just wanted to know if it was my fish or hermits that was moving it around, but sounds like they're mobile...
