moving

tank has been set up for 8 months when i move should i keep the sand i have or replace it with new?

I don't see a problem with keeping the sand. If whatever process of moving you choose to do creates a waste buildup then be sure to rinse the sand off and make sure no ammonia spike is created before re-introducing your livestock to the tank.

save it. keep i t wet and let it run without fish until our ammonia is down

Im moving my140 in 2 weeks and Im removing half and doing a 60 gal water change.Oh yea.Im replacing the sand with new sand of course,just not all of it...
