can I sync my old mp40 to my new ecosmart mp40

just got a esmp40 and want to know if it will sync to my gen2 mp40 ? if so is it the same process as syncing to ecosmarts?

Yes, it will sync in all of the standard modes the same way as the older pump, but you won't be able to sync in the EcoSmart modes.

so do I follow the instructions in the es manual or do I follow the old instructions ? when I tried to setup to es instructions the lights didnt blink the colors they were suppose to and it only let stayed in constant mode . Did I do something wrong or did I miss a step ?

you follow which ever instructions are for the driver you're working with at that time.
