Monitipora Bleaching - Why? Help?
I have a 2 year old red monitipora that is about the size of your open hand. It has done great since it was put in the tank. About 6 weeks ago, I rearranged the tank and it has been bleaching ever since. I was able to move the two rocks it was on with only a small piece breaking off. It is basically in the same place in the tank as it was before. The only parm change is that I had a spike in cal (up to 600) for a week. It is almost white! Any idea what's going on?

Did the flow change in that area? Or is there anything around it that could be coming into contact?

Not really. It's in basically the same place in the tank. About 5 inches to the left. It's up high and there is nothing around it. I was wondering if the calc spike may have gotten it stressed.

Alk stays between 7 - 8. I add buffer but can't seem to keep it up.
