water change/sump
Plan on adding my sump today, but I also need to do a water change. By adding water into my sump, is it technically the same as a water change? I was planning on a 209 gal change, but if I do ten into my sump then I would only have ten to fifteen for the change. Addind sump good enough or should I do both?

I would say just adding water to the sump would be fine but its depends on when your last water change was and how often you keep up on them. If it has been a while since the last water change I would do both but if you have been diligent and intend to do another water change in a week or two I would say just adding the water with the sump would be sufficent. Hope that helps.
