Too much flow?

I have a 29 Gallon with 1 Koralia 3 PH.

I just stocked two Occis, and they seem to have to swim pretty hard to stay in one place.

This is my first SW tank, and first PH, so I'm not sure how "hard" the fish usually swim in others' tanks. It's not a sprint, but looks to be a conscious effort to stay in the same spot.

There seem to be a few slower spots in the tank, but they have taken up residence in the most powerful spot of current as far as I can tell.

Should I look into moving the PH so that spot is calmer, or let them figure it out.

my fish have trouble swimming against my K3 in my 75 gallon. I would think there is too much flow there. I would try putting two smaller koralias in different spots.

As long as there is a calmer spot somewhere dont change anything. They will move if they want to.

My clown actually loves to swim into the flow of my Korlina 4. When he's done playing around he goes to a calm spot for a few minutes.

You never have too much flow. My clowns love swimming into the flow as well.

Both my clowns like to dart out into the main flow from my Vortec 40 swim in the flow for a bit, then head back to their "territory". As long as they have a calm area to go to I think they'd be fine, but the Koralia 3 is rated for 850gph, so you're looking at about 29x turnover. You could try either 2 smaller ph's or try angeling the Koralia 3 differently.
